Braunstein Named VP/Promo @ Dangerbird

• Promo pro Roze Braunstein has joined Dangerbird Records as VP of Promotion, effective Monday, May 6. In her new post, Braunstein will lead the label’s promotion and artist development efforts at radio and digital platforms, based at Dangerbird’s Silver Lake studio and offices.

Braunstein is a 20-year music industry vet who was most recently Director of Alternative Music at Thirty Tigers. Before that she served as Head of Radio Promotion at 7S Management. Her earlier label stops include Mute Records, Columbia Records and Jive Records.

Dangerbird President Jenni Sperandeo said, “Roze is experienced, passionate, smart and crafty. I’m thrilled to add an executive of her caliber to my team.”

The venerable L.A. indie label recently celebrated its 15th anniversary, during which time it has launched the careers of Fitz and the Tantrums, Silversun Pickups and others, and is currently home to a roster that includes Matt Costa, Sebadoh, Slothrust, *repeat repeat and many more.
