BTS: Larger Than Life

• Fresh off their well-received performance on last weekend’s American Music Awards, insanely popular Seoul, South Korea-based K-Pop band BTS recently set a Guinness World Record for the most Twitter engagements. According to a statement sent to the Huffington Post, the seven-member boy band now officially holds the records for 1) most Twitter engagements as well as the slightly more specific title of 2) most Twitter engagements for a music group.

To determine the record holder, the organization looked at average re-tweets an account receives per tweet. According to Guinness World Records, the group has amassed an average of roughly 252,200 re-tweets per tweet on Twitter to date.
