Cold River Staff Enhancement

• Cold River Records has hired Jenna Johnson as the Manager of West Coast Radio Promotion, as former West Coast rep Taylor Eschbach moves into the newly established role of Creative Director. Eschbach will continue to work with a select group of East Coast radio stations.

Johnson (left) most recently worked for Empire Broadcasting Country KRTY/San Jose as Assistant to the VP of Sales, Creative Services Director and weekend air talent. She will be based in San Diego and officially starts her role at Cold River Records on April 2. “Jenna absolutely matches the energy and passion of the team at Cold River,” said John Ettinger, SVP of Cold River. “We are very excited to introduce her to radio.” Johnson said, “I couldn’t be more excited to join the team at Cold River Records. I can’t wait to hit the ground running and look forward to doing big things with this passionate group of people.”

Speaking of Eschbach (right), a four-year Cold River vet, Ettinger said, “Taylor has proven to be invaluable to the huge future ahead at the label. Taylor is diving deep in the creative community of Nashville, looking for artists, writers, and songs that will form the core of our success going forward.” Cold River Records is the home for artists Drew Baldridge, Maggie Baugh and Uncle Si & The Sicotics.
