Condolences: Frank Higginbotham

DAMN…. they just keep coming…. earlier today we heard the terrible news that yet another industry veteran — Frank Higginbotham — has died.

Born and raised in Seattle, Frank was well known — and loved — for his many years of service to the music industry through his successful promotional stints with MCA Records, SBK Records, Delicious Vinyl, Curb and Kirtland Records. He truly loved this business and had hoped to someday return to it.

Over the past 3 1/2 years Frank had been battling serious COVID-related kidney problems that had him undergoing dialysis three time a week. He was on a donor list for a new kidney.

On a brighter note, Frank was an avid record collector and leaves behind a sizeable trove of awesome memorabilia.

Frank is survived by his two beloved sons, Frank, Jr. (middle) and Gianna (left). Funeral arrangements are pending.

To gauge the level of respect that Frank has earned throughout his too-short life, we invite you to spend a few minutes perusing the heartfelt — and heartbroken — comments rapidly filling his Facebook page. [Special thanks to Chris Ruh]
