Coppola EVP/CFO of Sony Music Entertainment
Carmine Coppola has been promoted to Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, Sony Music Entertainment. Coppola (left) is a 25-year Sony Music veteran who most recently served as Global Controller and Executive Vice President, Global Finance, Sony Music Entertainment, where he oversees Global Financial Planning and Analysis, Global Financial Reporting and U.S. Shared Financial Services. In his new role Coppola will be responsible for managing Sony Music’s worldwide financial operations, as well as its information technology group.
Coppola is based in New York and reports to Kevin Kelleher, Chief Operating Officer, Sony Music Entertainment, who stated, “I have worked with Carmine for many years and he has tremendous in-depth knowledge of our worldwide financial operations. He has worked in many roles within the finance team over the course of his career with Sony Music, and we look forward to benefiting from his wealth of experience as we further grow our business around the world.”
Coppola joined Sony Music in 1992 from PriceWaterhouseCoopers and Prevor Marketing International. During his tenure he has served as CFO for Sony Music International, and SVP of Sony Music’s U.S. Finance and Operations, among other roles. Commenting on his enhanced responsibilities, Coppola, “This role is a great opportunity and I’m excited to take on the many challenges ahead.
