Executive Action: Better Noise

Better Noise Music CEO & Founder Allen Kovac, President Dan Waite, COO Steve Kline, and CFO Dan Lieblein are pleased to announce the promotions of Melanie Rodriguez and Aisha Aga to Vice President, and the addition of marketing pro Trish Sterling as Sr. Label Manager.

Rodriguez (left), who has been with the label since 2019 and most recently served as Sr. Director of Marketing, was upped to Vice President, Label Management this month. In her new role, she will take the lead on some of the company’s key projects, including overseeing the roll-outs of a new album from three-time GRAMMY nominees Nothing More and the official soundtrack for Better Noise Films’ horror-thriller feature The Retaliators.

Aga (center), who is upped to VP, Internal Communications, joined the company in 2021, managing the executive office of Kovac. Since coming aboard, she’s played a key role in organizing company-wide initiatives surrounding priority marketing efforts, and she will continue helping to make the company’s internal workflow and human resources processes run more efficiently.

Sterling (right) previously worked at Roc Nation, Def Jam, and Downtown Music before joining Better Noise last month. She will oversee key upcoming projects such as new albums from Five Finger Death Punch and Mongolian rock band The HU. Sterling is also spearheading a new album release from emerging band Classless Act, who are set to open for Def Leppard and Mötley Crüe on their summer stadium tour, as well as taking on roster responsibility for From Ashes to New and Fire from the Gods, both of which are finishing albums.
