First Round Of Grammy Performers Announced
• The Recording Academy™ just announced the first group of artists set to perform on this year’s 61st Annual Grammy Awards®. Taking the stage on Music’s Biggest Night® will be current nominees Camila Cabello, Cardi B, Dan + Shay, Post Malone, Shawn Mendes, Janelle Monáe and Kacey Musgraves. More performers will be announced shortly.
Cabello is nominated for Best Pop Solo Performance (“Havana [Live]”) and Best Pop Vocal Album (Camila). Cardi B is up for Record Of The Year (“I Like It”), Album Of The Year and Best Rap Album (Invasion Of Privacy), Best Pop Duo/Group Performance with Maroon 5(“Girls Like You”) and Best Rap Performance (“Be Careful”).
First-time Grammy nominees Dan + Shay are up for Best Country Duo/Group Performance (“Tequila”). Malone, another first-timer, received four nominations — Record Of The Year and Best Rap/Sung Performance (“Rockstar” with 21 Savage), Album Of The Year (Beerbongs & Bentleys) and Best Pop Solo Performance (“Better Now”).
Mendes is nominated for Song Of The Year (“In My Blood”) and Best Pop Vocal Album (Shawn Mendes). Monáe is up for Album Of The Year (Dirty Computer) and Best Music Video (“PYNK”). Musgraves is up for four Grammy Awards, Album Of The Year and Best Country Album (Golden Hour), Best Country Solo Performance (“Butterflies”) and Best Country Song (“Space Cowboy”).
Live from Staples Center, and hosted by Alicia Keys, the 61st Annual Grammy Awards will be broadcast live Sunday, Feb. 10 at 8pm ET/5pm PT on CBS.
