Harvest Time For Mike Easterlin
• The many friends and fans of Mike Easterlin, co-President of Elektra Music Group assembled last Saturday, November 17 at the fashionable Montclair Golf Club in New Jersey to pay tribute to Mr. Easterlin, who was the guest of honor at the TJ Martell Foundation’s annual New Jersey Harvest Dinner.
The evening’s festivities were hosted by Patty Steele of WCBS-FM/New York and featured a special acoustic performance by Young The Giant, pictured here surrounding Mr. Easterlin. Among the list of influential attendees who were on hand to honor Easterlin (pictured below, second from left) were Joe Guzik of Red Bull Records, RAMP‘s own globetrotting Steve Resnik and Samir Gadhia of Young The Giant.
We understand that the event, which included a terrific silent auction, has generated over $150,000 for the TJ Martell Foundation — with more still coming in.
“I was proud to be this year’s honoree for such an important foundation,” Easterlin tells RAMP. “I would like to thank everyone who attended as well as everyone who donated to the night. I would also like to thank Young The Giant for donating their time and extending their tour by one day. What an amazing night!”
