• RAMP has confirmed that Drew Hauser has tendered his resignation as SVP of Rock and Alternative Promotion at Epic Records and will be announcing his brand new gig very soon.
Hauser famously spent 17 years with Wind-up Records, rising to SVP of Promotion until he exited in May 2015 during a round of restructuring. A month later he was snapped up by Epic in his current position as SVP of Rock and Alternative.

• In a surprising turn of events, Enrique Ongpin has exited as Interscope Geffen A&M’s longtime Western Regional Promotion Manager, Rhythm-Crossover, as his position is eliminated. This had been Ongpin’s second tour of duty in that same position — he initially worked at Interscope Geffen A&M from 1998-2000 before transitioning to Virgin Records as National Promotion Director, Top 40 & Rhythm-Crossover. He returned to Interscope in 2002 and had been there ever since.
Ongpin started his record industry career in 1992 as Local Promotion Manager with California Record Distributors, Inc., followed by a three-year stint with Jive Records as Local Promotion Manager, Top 40.
