Hradil Upped To SVP @ BMG
• BMG has promoted Jason Hradil to L.A.-based Senior Vice President, Global Repertoire, responsible for marketing all inbound and outbound frontline international repertoire to and from the U.S. He now leads a U.S. team which includes VP of Marketing outbound Shane Cosme, and VP of Marketing inbound Mark Mueller.
In his new role Hradil reports to Fred Casimir, BMG’s Berlin-based EVP of Global Recordings, who commented, “Recordings is BMG’s fastest growing business, the U.S. is, by far, our biggest territory, and international is our greatest opportunity which all means the job of growing our international recordings business in and out of the U.S. is of vital importance. I’m delighted that Jason, who has been working our U.S. recorded business from day one will now step up to this position. Jason exemplifies BMG’s values and has shown himself able to work across a wide range of genres.”
Hradil joined BMG in 2011 as the then-music-publishing-focused company’s first recorded music employee in the U.S. After a string of successes with campaigns for artists including A Perfect Circle, Godsmack, Nickelback, 311and Backstreet Boys, Hradil was most recently at the helm of Karen O & Danger Mouse‘s critically acclaimed record, Sammy Hagar‘s Top 5 Billboard 200 debut and the further global development of LP.
