It’s Almost ‘Almost Acoustic Xmas’

• Audacy’s World Famous KROQ/Los Angeles will host its 33rd annual KROQ Almost Acoustic Christmas, presented by GAIN, on Saturday, Dec. 14 at the Kia Forum in Inglewood. The big show will feature performances from The Smashing Pumpkins, Beck, 311, Sublime, Jimmy Eat World, Franz Ferdinand, Royel Otis, AWOLNATION, The Linda Lindas and bby.

KROQ Almost Acoustic Christmas benefits two local organizations dedicated to supporting local youth education — Para Los Niños and Al Wooten Jr. Heritage Center. Founded in 1980 in LA’s Skid Row, Para Los Niños fosters pathways to success through excellence in education, powerful families, and strong communities for children and youth to thrive. And through free after-school and low-cost summer programs, the Al Wooten Jr. Heritage Center in Los Angeles revitalizes and empowers communities in crisis by providing a safe, nurturing environment committed to good citizenship and academic excellence.

“KROQ’s Almost Acoustic Christmas is a SoCal holiday tradition, and we’re thrilled to announce the 33rd anniversary with this year’s stellar lineup,” said Kevin Weatherly, KROQ SVP of Programming. “We’re very grateful to these artists who will join us to support two incredible organizations that empower and uplift our local youth.”
