Keeley-Carter New SVP @ WMG London
• Jess Keeley-Carter has been named Senior Vice President of Global Digital Marketing, Recorded Music for Warner Music Group (WMG), effective Jan. 14. Based in London, she will report to Jeremy Marsh, who was recently promoted to the role of Chief Global Marketing Officer, Recorded Music, WMG.
Keeley-Carter segues from Facebook, where she oversaw Label Partnerships for Europe, the Middle East and Africa. “Jess is one of the most forward-thinking, creative young execs at the intersection of entertainment and tech,” said Marsh. “She has genuine insight into how fans share, influence and evangelize so that great music cascades across the globe. In today’s environment, it’s essential that we take a worldwide view of an artist’s career from day one. Jess will be an invaluable addition to our talented central marketing team, which is a powerful catalyst in igniting the passions of fans everywhere.”
Keeley-Carter previously worked for Universal Music Group for eight years, first in the UK as Global Digital Business Manager, and later, at Universal Music Australia as Sr. Director of Digital Strategy.
Commenting on her new WMG challenge, Keeley-Carter said, “Not only is its roster of talent world-class, but the people who work to support it are some of the most dynamic and forward-thinking executives in the business. Breaking and sustaining an artist’s career across an ever-changing digital landscape is complex, requiring a smart combination of global oversight, local expertise and real-time coordination. I look forward to working with Warner’s talented international teams to harness this and drive the continued global success of the artists they represent. Thank you to both Jeremy and Max Lousada for this wonderful new opportunity.”
