Klaiman Named Pres. Of Hitco Entertainment

• Hitco Entertainment, the new music and entertainment company launched by L.A. Reid and Charles Goldstuck today announced the addition of Joel Klaiman to its executive team as President of Hitco Entertainment. Klaiman will be based in the company’s New York office.

Klaiman joins Hitco from Columbia Records where he served as Executive Vice President and General Manager since 2012. Klaiman brings over two decades of experience in developing and delivering some of the most successful and acclaimed artists in music. Over his career, he has worked with such artists as Adele, Beyoncé, Nicki Minaj, One Direction, Amy Winehouse, Taylor Swift, Drake, Pharrell Williams, John Legend and Daft Punk, to name a few. He has been annually recognized on Billboard‘s Power 100 rankings (2015, 2016, 2017 & 2018) for developing breakout artists and established stars.

In a joint statement, Reid and Goldstuck said of Klaiman, “Joel is an experienced, world-class executive who has mastered all facets of the music business. With Joel joining our leadership team, we are now well poised to take the next step in our growth cycle. We’re excited that he will help drive our efforts as we move toward building a world class music enterprise.”
