Lamb Upped To EVP/GM, Big Machine Records
• Big Machine Label Group, a subsidiary of HYBE America, announces the appointment of Kris Lamb as EVP/General Manager of Big Machine Records. Lamb’s upgrade follows Tuesday’s elevation of Clay Hunnicutt from GM of Big Machine Records to EVP, Label Operations for BMLG.
Lamb most recently served as SVP of Promotion and Digital, leading the radio and digital strategy for the Big Machine Records imprint. Lamb’s new role will concentrate on breaking, building and retaining BMR’s frontline roster of artists, which includes Tim McGraw, Carly Pearce, Midland and Jackson Dean, to name a few, focusing on fan acquisition and engagement.
BMLG Chairman & CEO Scott Borchetta remarked, “Kris has been with the label group for 13 years; he started with us as a Regional Promotions Director and I’ve loved watching him work his way up through our system, excelling at each new level. I am so proud that he is now leading the charge for our flagship imprint, Big Machine Records.”

Concurrent with Lamb’s elevation comes additional changes to the imprint, including the elevation of nine-year Big Machine veteran Brooke Diaz (left) to National Director of Promotion & Marketing, and Bill Lubitz (right), is upped to Sr. Director of West Coast Promotion and National Strategy.
Lamb noted, “Brooke is one of the most multi-dimensional promotion executives in the field and her passion, ideation and execution is next to none. I’m so thrilled to watch her, along with [VP of Promotion] Erik [Powell] guide our radio promo team and strategy to the highest level.”
The rest of the Big Machine Promotion team includes Director of Midwest Promotion Jane Staszak, Director Southeast Promotion Jay Cruze, and Promotions Coordinator Sara Barlow.
