Lost Highway/Capitol Records Nashville Finds Promo Team

• Lost Highway and Capitol Records Nashville today announced their combined radio promotion team — please welcome industry veteran Luke Jensen, who has been appointed Vice President, Promotion, and Megan McCaffrey as the label’s newly named Regional Director of Promotion. Additional personnel are expected to join the Lost Highway/Capitol Records Nashville radio promotion team in the coming months.

A true Country music veteran with more than three decades of experience, Jensen (left) most recently served as VP of Promotion at Monument Records. Prior to Monument Jensen worked in the radio promotion department of Arista Nashville, and he began his music industry career on the radio side, most recently as PD of KVOO/Oklahoma City. Earlier stops include WSOC/Charlotte, and KCKC, KBEQ & KMXV/Kansas City, to name a few.

McCaffrey (right) has more than eight years of experience in radio promotion, marketing and brand partnerships, most recently working alongside Jensen at Monument Records as Director of Promotion. She has also worked for UMG Nashville and Live In The Vineyard.

“As the cultural landscape continues to evolve, radio promotion serves as an integral piece to the overall development and advancement of an artist’s career,” said Robert Knotts, Co-Head of Lost Highway alongside Jake Gear. “Luke and Megan are widely respected across the radio community and will make a real difference for our collective artists.”

“It was a no-brainer for us to invest in a best-in-class radio promotion team from the outset given radio’s powerful audience reach,” said Candice Watkins, President of Capitol Records Nashville. “We’re proud to welcome Luke and Megan, and we’re confident in the value they’ll bring to our artists.” Both Jensen and McCaffrey will be based in Nashville.
