Mallory Upped To EVP @ Sony Music
• Jenifer Mallory has been promoted to Executive Vice President, International, for Sony Music Entertainment. The New York-based Mallory (left) oversees an international team based in both New York and London, focused on Project Management & Promotion, International Digital Marketing and Sales. She reports to Rob Stringer, CEO, Sony Music Entertainment, and Sony Music’s U.S. based label heads. Stringer commented, “Jenifer has been heavily involved in the global success stories of many artists over recent years, and has built a fantastic international marketing division for the U.S. labels. In addition to these responsibilities, she has also been involved in helping shape our wider global strategy meetings and communication, so this promotion is fully deserved.”
Since 2015, Mallory has served as SVP, International for Sony Music Entertainment, where she has played a leading role in the ongoing development of large-scale, worldwide marketing campaigns for numerous artists including Harry Styles, P!NK, Camila Cabello, Khalid and the Chainsmokers.
Before that, Mallory spent six years with Columbia Records — from 2006-2012, she developed and managed the Columbia digital marketing team in New York, then transitioned over to international marketing and served as Sr. Director, then Vice President, International. Prior to joining Columbia in 2006, Mallory spent several years working with the Sony Pictures Digital Entertainment team in Los Angeles.
