McDonald Upped To VP/Promo, MCA Nashville

• MCA Nashville announces the elevation of Miranda McDonald to Vice President of Promotion. In her newly expanded role, McDonald will now lead the MCA Nashville promo staff and runs point on all radio initiatives for the artists on the label’s roster, including Kassi Ashton, Jordan Davis, Vince Gill, Sam Hunt, Kacey Musgraves, Parker McCollum, Reba McEntire, Catie Offerman, George Strait, and Josh Turner.

McDonald began her music industry career as a host and reporter for CMT Radio, followed by a stint as a radio regional with Valory Music. In 2012, she joined MCA Nashville as Director of Promotion. McDonald most recently served as VP of National Promotion for UMG Nashville, covering radio initiatives across Capitol Records Nashville, EMI Records Nashville, MCA Nashville, and Mercury Nashville.
