Michaels Elected President of Reviver Records
• The Reviver Entertainment Group is thrilled beyond reason to announce that Gator Michaels has been promoted to President of Reviver Records. Michaels joined the Reviver team in 2015 as SVP of Promotion and in June 2016 was upped to EVP/GM of Reviver Entertainment Group — a role he will retain in addition to his new presidential duties.
Reviver CEO David Ross stated, “Gator is the consummate professional, and a superb executive. His deep relationships and years of experience have enabled me to grow the Reviver brand while Gator has focused on bringing in artist and publishing deals, all the while, keeping his eye on the day to day operations of Reviver.”
After a decade-long radio career, Michaels served as GM for Young-Olsen & Associates and VP of Promotion at Dreamcatcher Entertainment prior to joining Warner Bros. Nashville, where he rose to Senior Vice President. In 2010, Michaels was named EVP/GM at Davis Music Group before founding his own promotions company, Instigator Entertainment. In 2012 he was named VP of Promotion at Blaster Records.
