Nadel Named Pres., A&R, Warner Records Group

• Widely respected music executive Gregg Nadel has been elevated to the newly created central role of President of A&R at Warner Records Group. Nadel, who has been with Warner Music Group for his entire 28-year career, was most recently Co-Chair & Co-President of Warner Music Nashville, now Warner Records Nashville. Based in Los Angeles, Nadel reports to Warner Records Group CEO & Co-Chairman Aaron Bay-Schuck.

Nadel’s appointment follows the recent announcement of the alignment between Warner Records UK and Warner Records US under the Warner Records Group umbrella. In his new post, Nadel will work closely withJoe Kentish, President of Warner Records UK; Karen Kwak, Head of A&R at Warner Records US; and Cris Lacy, Chair & President of the newly rebranded Warner Records Nashville.

Prior to his tenure as Co-Chair & Co-President of Warner Music Nashville, Nadel served as President of Elektra Entertainment for seven years. He was previously GM of Elektra, and SVP, A&R and Marketing, for Atlantic Records. Nadel joined Atlantic straight out of college in 1997, serving in various A&R and Marketing posts.
