• Big day around the Quartz Hill Records/Brown Sellers Brown Management ranch as the company announced a bunch of staff promotions and new hires.
The promotions begin with April Rider, Quartz Hill Records’ VP of Promotion (left), who is upped to SVP of Promotion & Marketing for Quartz Hill and Brown Sellers Brown Management. Rider previously served as GM of Operations for Brown’s Stoney Creek Records and spent 11 years at Curb Records, rising to SVP of Promotion. She was also a Managing Partner at RPM Entertainment. Quartz Hill Records Dir. of Regional Promotion Will Robinson (right) is upped to VP of Promotion & Marketing, reporting to Rider. Prior to joining Quartz Hill in November 2020, Robinson worked at 19th & Grand and IRS Records, and his extensive radio background includes stints with WCAT & WCPP/Harrisburg, PA; WNEW/New York; WRBQ & WQYK/Tampa, and WFRE/Frederick, MD. • Now, let’s meet the new hires (l-r), starting with Maurisa Pasick, newly named Director of Promotion for Quartz Hill Records. Pasick was most recently East Coast Director of Promotion & Marketing for Brown Sellers Brown Management. Before that he was Nat’l Director of Promotion for Riser House Records and spent more than a decade as Northeast Director of Promotion for New Revolution Entertainment. Suzanne Durham joins as Director of Promotion for Quartz Hill, also reporting to Robinson. Durham brings 25 years of experience in country radio promotion, most recently as Manager/Midwest Regional Promotion for 19th & Grand Records. Her career includes stints at Show Dog and DreamWorks Records and she was the Country Marketing Manager for Universal Music Distribution for eight years.
