Radio Disney Presents The ARDYs
• After six years of hosting the Radio Disney Music Awards, Radio Disney announced that the 2019 edition of its annual celebration for families has been re-branded as ARDYs: A Radio Disney Music Celebration.
The big show is happening Sunday, June 16, hosted by actress, singer, songwriter and Hollywood Records and Republic Records recording artist Sofia Carson. For the first time, the ARDYs will be a live telecast, originating from Los Angeles at 8pm ET (re-airing at 8pm PT) on Disney Channel and in DisneyNow, with a simulcast on Radio Disney.
The ARDYs will celebrate the biggest and rising stars in music, television and movies and create an event designed to inspire and entertain today’s families. Beginning May 20, and during the live ARDYs show itself, fans will be invited to be part of the planning for the live telecast. By visiting Disney.com/ARDYs, the DisneyNOW app or the Radio Disney app, fans can participate in polls that will help determine certain elements of the show.
