Red Street Records Is Rockin’

Red Street Records continues to see rapid expansion since its 2018 launch, and to that end announced a plethora of internal promotions and new hires. The action starts with Alex Valentine (left), who has been elevated from SVP of Radio Promotion & Artist Development to General Manager; and Kelly Rich (right), who previously consulted for the label, has officially joined the team as Chief Operating Officer.

Ronn Tabb is also upgraded from a consultancy with Red Street to a full-time role as VP of Artist Development & Marketing in the Christian Division; Mike Craft joins Red Street as Chief Financial Officer; Andy Elliott is aboard as SVP of Country Promotion; Emily Bermann segues from radio to Director of Field Promotion; and Harrison Sokoloff is Red Street’s newly named Director of Publishing and A&R. Now, let’s meet the team….

Alex Valentine has spent the better part of four decades in radio and record promotion, having served several years at Big Machine Records and Sony Nashville, following programming roles for CBS Radio (now Audacy) and others. • Kelly Rich brings 30-plus years of industry expertise, having held leadership roles at Amazon Music as Head of Country Music and at Big Machine Label Group as SVP of Sales, Marketing and Interactive. She also held positions at UMG Nashville, DreamWorks, Arista Nashville, BMG and Western Merchandisers.

Ronn Tabb has spent several years as an independent consultant and recently served as Director of Marketing with Sony Music/Provident Entertainment. Tabb has also held executive roles with Reunion Records, Atlantic Records and Word Records.

Mike Craft spent the past 5+ years at Big Machine Label Group as SVP of Finance, and previously held the same position at Sony Nashville.

Andy Elliott has several decades of experience in radio promotion, with executive roles at Pearl Records, Curb Records, Arista Nashville, and most recently, co-Head of Promotion at Records Nashville.

Emily Bermann brings more than a decade ears of radio experience, most recently serving as APD/midday personality for iHeart’s former WEBG/Chicago. •
