Republic Ups Hrycyshyn To VP/Digital
• Republic Records has promoted Tim Hrycyshyn to Vice President of Digital Marketing. The announcement was made by Kevin Lipson, Republic’s EVP of Commerce, Streaming & Digital Strategy, who said, “Tim’s approach to digital marketing is nothing short of innovative. He leverages a rich sense of personal creativity and extensive relationships to create headline-worthy campaigns. It’s always thrilling to see what he comes up with next!”
The New York-based Hrycyshyn joined Republic in 2015 as Director of Digital Marketing. Throughout his tenure at the company, he has devised and executed successful online and social media campaigns for such artists as Lil Wayne, Ariana Grande, Nicki Minaj, James Bay, Phantogram, Post Malone and others.
In 2018 Republic received a prestigious Clio Award for its immersive initiative surrounding the launch of Lord Huron‘s Vide Noir — spearheaded by the efforts of Hrycyshyn, who commented, “Republic has provided an open canvas to really push the envelope when it comes to digital marketing. From the top down, there’s an entrepreneurial spirit at the label that encourages going outside the box and breaking new ground. That’s what we’ve been able to do as a team, and I’m excited to continue forging ahead into new territory for our amazing roster.” Prior to joining Republic, Hrycyshyn held digital marketing positions at ILG and ADA.
