Republic Ups Romeo To SVP/Promotion

• Republic Records has elevated Lucas Romeo to Senior Vice President, Promotion, effective immediately. The announcement was made by Republic Executive Vice President, Gary Spangler, who said, “Lucas is the most forward-thinking modern promotion executive in the music business. He’s constantly one step ahead of the competition. There’s no one I’d rather have at my side as we sail into uncharted waters.”

The New York-based Romeo joined Republic in 2014 as Regional Promotion Manager in Nashville, before moving back to New York to serve as VP of Top 40, and has been instrumental in Republic’s stronghold on the #1 Mediabase Market share position for the past eight years, while driving successful campaigns for many Republic artists including Taylor Swift, Ariana Grande, Post Malone, The Weeknd, Jonas Brothers, and Island’s Shawn Mendes and Demi Lovato, among many others. Prior to joining Republic Records, Romeo worked at Epic Records after attending Adelphi University, majoring in Business Management.
