Ruden Earns Columbia SVP Stripes
• Ryan Ruden has been promoted to Senior Vice President, Experiential Marketing and Business Development for Columbia Records. Ruden most recently served as Vice President of Touring and Events for Columbia Records. In his new role, he will pursue strategic marketing and business partnerships, driving revenue and innovation in artist development.
Ruden reports to Stephen Russo, Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for Columbia, who remarked, “Ryan is a forward-thinking executive with a unique mix of experience and relationships in the agency, management, label, and live performance sectors of the music industry. His passion for exploring how emerging technologies and innovative platforms can be integrated into marketing campaigns to redefine our relationship with live audiences and music consumers make him the ideal person to lead business development efforts for Columbia. All of Columbia Records joins me in congratulating Ryan on this well-deserved promotion.”
Prior joining Columbia Records Ruden was Director of Tour Marketing at Interscope Records, appointed in 2008. Before that he worked at Shady Records/Goliath Artists Management from 2003 to 2007.
