Scientists Discover New Continent: ‘Australasia’
• Scott Maclachlan is joining the team at Warner Music Australasia as SVP of A&R. He reports to Niko Nordström, President of Warner Music Australasia, and will split his time between the company’s offices in Auckland, New Zealand and Sydney, Australia.
Maclachlan is the co-founder and director of Saiko Management, a boutique music management company with offices in Auckland and New York. He’s best known for discovering and nurturing Lorde and SOL3 MIO, two of New Zealand’s biggest artists. He also represents New Zealand artists Balu Brigada, LEISURE and Thomston, Australian acts E^STand Glades, as well as The Aces in the U.S. He will continue to have an advisory role at Saiko Management.
