SoCal ‘Benefest’ Stars Pete Yorn & Jackson Browne
• Rock and Roll Hall of Fame artist Jackson Browne will join acclaimed singer-songwriter Pete Yorn for a benefit concert in support of Southern California’s leading Triple-A station, 88.5-FM, The SoCal Sound, on Saturday, June 15.
In addition to Yorn, who is headlining the event, and Browne, others taking part in the “Benefest” for public, member-supported The SoCal Sound at the historic Alex Theatre in Glendale are folk and indie pop group JEMS, California-based indie pop band Cayucas and acclaimed British singer-songwriter Jade Bird.
“We are incredibly excited to bring together such a talented and diverse group of musicians for this special benefit concert,” said Patrick Osburn, General Manager of The SoCal Sound. “The Alex Theatre has a rich history of hosting world-class performances, and Benefest is no exception. We look forward to an evening of exceptional music and community support for a great cause.”

• 88.5-FM, The SoCal Sound, is a combined effort of KCSN at California State University, Northridge, and KSBR at Saddleback College , which began simulcasting as 88.5-FM in October 2017, linking the Los Angeles County and Orange County-based signals.
