Stone Country Adds Malito, Ups Galvin
• Brown Sellers Brown, parent company of Quartz Hill Records and Stone Country Records, announced that radio promotion vet Jim Malito will join Stone Country Records as its new VP of Radio Promotion & Marketing, and also taking over Southwest promotion duties for the label. It was concurrently announced that current Stone Country VP Matt Galvin is transitioning into the newly created role of National Director of Digital Strategy & Promotion for Quartz Hill and Stone Country, while also handling Midwest Promotion & Marketing duties for Stone Country Records.
The move reunites Malito (left) with Benny Brown, former Founder & CEO of BBR Music Group, with whom he served for 10 years as the Nat’l Director of Promotion for Broken Bow Records. Malito earlier served as VP of Promotion/Director of West Coast Promotion at Warner Music Nashville. Galvin (right) joined the Brown Sellers Brown team in 2020 as Nat’l Director of Promotion & Marketing for Quartz Hill Records before joining the newly launched Stone Country Records as VP of Promotion & Marketing in January 2022.
