SVP Upgrade For Big Loud’s Tyler Waugh

Big Loud Records heads into the Memorial Day weekend by announcing the promotion of industry veteran Tyler Waugh to SVP, Radio Promotion effective immediately.

“Tyler’s leadership, strategic vision and dedication have been instrumental to our continued growth and success,” said Stacy Blythe, Big Loud EVP of Radio Promotion. “The deep respect that he earns from the team speaks volumes. We are excited to see the impact that he will make in this new role as Big Loud continues to push boundaries.”

Marking nearly a decade of tenure at Big Loud Records, among his many accomplishments Waugh has played an integral part in 30 No. 1 singles and a historic add day — earning 167 first week adds at country radio with Post Malone‘s “I Had Some Help (feat. Morgan Wallen),” becoming only the second single in chart history to debut with the support of all reporting stations.

Waugh joined Big Loud in April 2016 as Southeast Regional rep, was upped to National Director in mid-2021 and elevated again to VP of Radio Promotion a year ago. Prior to Big Loud, Waugh worked for 1608 and Streamsound Records, rising to Nat’l Director of Promotion. His previous stops include Blaster, Arista Nashville, RCA/Arista/J Records, Roadrunner Records and BMG Distribution/LA.

Waugh earned the coveted CRS Award in 2023 for Director, National Promotion, and alongside the promotion team was named the Country Aircheck Label of the Year two consecutive years (2023 + 2024) and Billboard’s reigning No. 1 Country Airplay Label. [Photo credit: Brayln Kelly Smith]
