SVP Upgrade For CMG’s Jenny Swiatowy
• Jenny Swiatowy has been promoted to Senior Vice President of Creative Sync Licensing & Brand Partnerships for Capitol Music Group (CMG).
Based at the company’s iconic Capitol Tower in Hollywood, Swiatowy (left) reports to CMG President & COO Michelle Jubelirer and leads a diverse and growing creative sync, sports marketing, and brand partnerships team of ten — seven of whom are rising female executives.
In her newly enhanced position, Swiatowy will expand her team’s role within the company to generate and maximize revenue streams, while adding points of artist discovery, across CMG’s portfolio of labels: Capitol, Blue Note, Astralwerks, Capitol Christian Music Group, Harvest and Virgin Music Label & Artist Service. Swiatowy and her team also provide these comprehensive services for Motown Records.
In a joint statement, Jubelirer and CMG Chairman & CEO Jeff Vaughn said, “Jenny has proven to be a consummate executive whose passion for our artists is matched by her abilities within the sync and brand partnerships space. She’s played a crucial role in the development and growth of these areas within CMG, and she will continue to make invaluable contributions to CMG in the years ahead. We congratulate Jenny on this well-deserved promotion.” Swiatowy commented, “I’m honored to lead this exceptionally dynamic, talented and seasoned team that has executed game-changing partnerships for artists across every CMG label, and has performed magnificently during these especially challenging times. I want to thank Jeff and Michelle and the entire CMG team for recognizing the importance of our crucial role in artist development for new talent, and the value we bring to the projects and careers of our established and superstar artists.”
Swiatowy joined CMG in 2014 as Director of Creative Sync Licensing. The following year she was upped to Sr. Creative Director, and promoted to her most recent position as VP, Head of Creative Sync Licensing in 2017. From 2009-2014, Swiatowy held sync and licensing positions in music publishing at Bug Music and Warner Chappell Music. She began her career in 2005 in the music department of Creative Artists Agency (CAA), beginning her work in sync licensing at Universal Music Enterprises (UMe) in 2006. [Photo credit: Jen Rosenstein]
