Szydlowski Named EVP @ UMe
• Vince Szydlowski has been appointed Executive Vice President of Commercial Sales for Universal Music Enterprises (UMe). In his new position, Szydlowski will oversee UMe’s commercial business, including the development and execution of the company’s strategies in both the digital and physical space. He will also work closely with all UMG labels and UMG partners to maximize commercial opportunities for the world’s largest music catalog.
Szydlowski comes to UMe directly from his role as Senior Vice President of Label Sales for Capitol Music Group, a position he held since mid-2014. Before that he spent seven years as VP of National Sales for Universal Music Group Distribution (UMGD). Prior to joining the UMG family in 2004, Szydlowski was the Sr. Director of Product for Virgin Entertainment Group for six years, and he began his industry career at Virgin in 1992.
