The Syndicate Expands Again
• Entertainment marketing agency The Syndicate announced several hires to expand its publicity and radio promotion departments — Los Angeles-based PR pro Shane Greenberg has been named Sr. Manager, Publicity, and Ariana Quiroz and Maddie Schwappach join the radio team as Radio Promotion Managers.
Greenberg (left) comes to The Syndicate via Planetary Group, where he acted as head of the Press Department. Prior to his role at Planetary, Greenberg served as Junior Publicist at Grandstand. Quiroz (center) segues from Waterloo Media in Austin where she was on-air at ACL Radio and The Vibe and worked as a Digital Content Producer for KROX and KLBJ. She now manages all radio department operations and will work on Alternative and Triple A campaigns. Schwappach (right) was most recently an on-air host at KCMP (The Current)/Minneapolis, and before that was the Music Director at KUOM (Radio K) at the University of Minneapolis. She will now work on College and Non-Comm Radio campaigns and oversee the College department. All three will report to Sr. Director, Radio Promotion Joe McGinnis and SVP, Artist Development & Global Commerce, Bill Burrs.
But Wait! There’s More! Jesse Taconelli rounds out the team as Radio Promotion Coordinator, working on College Radio campaigns. Taconelli was previously MD at Michigan State’s WDBM, and is the co-founder/artist manager for deadAir, a multi-disciplinary label for a niche circle of electronic artists.
And finally… Max Feldman and Marco Rojas have been promoted to Radio Promotion Managers; they were previously Radio Promotion Coordinators. In addition to his continued work managing all of the Syndicate’s Metal Radio campaigns, Feldman will expand his duties to be a part of the team on all Commercial Active Rock campaigns. Rojas manages all of The Syndicate’s Hip-Hop and Electronic radio campaigns and will expand his role to managing all Specialty campaigns and working on Commercial Alternative radio campaigns.
