UJA Tribute To Greenstein Back On
• UJA-Federation of New York’s long delayed Music Visionary of the Year Award Luncheon honoring Scott Greenstein, President & Chief Content Officer of SiriusXM will finally happen on May 18. The event was originally scheduled for June 2020, but, like pretty much everything in the world at the time, was postponed due to COVID-19. The purpose of the luncheon is to recognize Greenstein for his exceptional professional accomplishments and commitment to philanthropy.
“We’re thrilled to move forward with honoring Scott in May,” said Daniel Glass, President & Founder of Glassnote Records and co-chair of UJA’s Entertainment, Tech & Lifestyle Division. “Scott is especially deserving of this award for demonstrating resilient leadership and guiding the music and entertainment industry through two years of upheaval.”
The Music Visionary Luncheon has been a must-attend event for the music industry for more than 20 years. The event attracts the most respected and well-regarded executives and an A-list roster of talent. Past honorees include Doug Davis, Michele Anthony, Rob Stringer, Avery and Monte Lipman, Bob Pittman, Rich Bressler, John Sykes, Tom Poleman, Daniel Ek, Troy Carter, Daniel Glass, Tom Corson, and Julie Greenwald. Past performers at these events include Lizzo, Eddie Vedder, Dan + Shay, Leon Bridges, Alessia Cara, Alicia Keys, Bruno Mars, Justin Timberlake, Adele, Mariah Carey, Jay-Z, The Weeknd, Jennifer Hudson, and many more.
Funds raised at the luncheon will help UJA get New Yorkers who have experienced hardship and trauma due to the pandemic get back on their feet, and help support UJA’s Music for Youth, which provides music education programs for underprivileged children and children with special needs throughout the New York community.
