Will Coachella & Stagecoach Be Postponed?
• At press time Monday night, multiple sources, including Rolling Stone, Variety and Billboard were reporting that the upcoming Coachella and Stagecoach festivals are close to being moved to October. Organizers have yet to release a statement, but insiders say the decision was inevitable as coronavirus panic continues to sweep through the live entertainment sector.
The Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, featuring headliners Rage Against the Machine, Travis Scott and Frank Ocean was scheduled to take place at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, CA on April 10-12 & April 17-19, followed by Stagecoach on April 24-26 with headliners Carrie Underwood, Eric Church and Thomas Rhett.
