Williams Upped To RCA EVP/Marketing
• Carolyn Williams has been promoted to Executive Vice President, Marketing for RCA Records. Williams was previously Senior Vice President, Marketing, where she ran the label’s Urban marketing division. In this newly expanded role, the New York-based Williams will be responsible for overseeing the marketing staff as well as continue to lead marketing campaigns for BROCKHAMPTON, Childish Gambino, H.E.R., SZA and more.

Williams began her major label experience at the inception of J Records, where she crafted lifestyle-marketing campaigns for Grammy-nominated Jazmine Sullivan, Busta Rhymes, Rhymefest, Monica, Mario, Fantasia and others. Prior to that, she held various positions at Soul Brother Records, Penalty Records and Tommy Boy Records.
