Wilson VP/Publicity @ Razor & Tie/Washington Square
Wilson’s publicity career began at Warner Brothers Records, where he started as an assistant and worked his way up to Director of Publicity in just four years. He later moved over to Universal Records as Director of Publicity before transitioning to Universal Motown as VP of Publicity. Several years later, Wilson was named to head the Publicity Department at Republic Records as Senior Vice President, where he executed Grammy award-winning media campaigns with high profile artists. “I’m thrilled to be joining the Razor & Tie family as the new department head of publicity,” said Wilson. “I’m excited to be a part of this growing and expanding label, and eager to not only be working with the core bands that have always defined Razor & Tie, but additionally to help cultivate our imprint label’s new artists at Washington Square Music, which gives the company a new and fresh energy to an already established and exciting line-up.”
