ACM Radio Winners Announced
The Academy of Country Music yesterday released the names of the Radio winners leading up to the 52nd ACM Awards — National On-Air Personality: Lon Helton, our former R&R colleague and the host of Country Countdown USA • Major Market Personality (tie): George, Mo & Cowboy Dave, KILT (100.3 The Bull)/Houston and Rob Stone & Linda Lee, WYCD/Detroit.
Large Market Personality: Mike, Marty & Janie (The Q Morning Crew), WQDR/Raleigh • Medium Market Personality: Steve & Gina in the Morning, KXKT (Kat 103.7)/Omaha • Small Market Personality: Scotty Cox & Cara Denis, KCLR (Clear 99)/Columbia, MO • Major Market Station: KKBQ (93Q)/Houston • Large Market Station: WUBE (B105.1)/Cincinnati • Medium Market Station: WIVK/Knoxville • Small Market Station: KKNU (New Country 93)/Eugene, OR.
All of these deserving winners will be honored at a private ceremony during the ACM Party For A Cause at The Joint at the Hard Rock in Las Vegas on Saturday, April 1 at 5:30pm. All of this excitement will serve as a hearty appetizer for the 52nd Academy of Country Music Awards on Sunday, April 2 at 8pm on CBS.
