Audacy Hires Promo Pros Charvis & Kent
Major market Promotion/Marketing pros Melissa Charvis and Bethany Kent have joined the Audacy Central Promotion Team, both as Promotion Director, Concerts & Experiences.
Charvis (left) has worked in Los Angeles radio for more than 15 years and was most recently Regional Contest Director for Audacy Southern California (Los Angeles, San Diego, Riverside & Palm Springs). She will remain based in Los Angeles and can be contacted at Melissa.Charvis@audacy.com.
The Providence-based Kent (right) is also a 15+ year radio vet and was most recently Director of Marketing & Events for MediaCo Hip Hop WQHT (Hot 97) and Urban AC WBLS/New York. Prior to joining Hot 97 in November 2013, Kent was Promotions Director at former Beasley Rhythmic WRDW (Wired 96.5)/Philadelphia, preceded by a similar post at Citadel/Cumulus Rhythmic WWKX (Hot 106)/Providence.
