• Nine Audacy radio stations serving the state of Pennsylvania just took home 12 Excellence in Broadcasting Awards from the Pennsylvania Association of Broadcasters (PAB). Multiple award winners include Classic Hits WOGL (BIG 98.1) and SportsRadio 94WIP/Philadelphia.

Philadelphia: WOGL (BIG 98.1): Outstanding Use of Digital Media & Outstanding Radio Station Sponsored Event (“Coop’s Miles for Miracles”), and Outstanding Radio Station Marketing & Promos (“BIG 98.1’s 30-Second Song Challenge”) • SportsRadio 94WIP: Outstanding Local Radio Newscast (“Philadelphia Eagles Championship Parade Coverage”) and Outstanding Radio Coverage of a Local Sporting Event (“Coverage of Super Bowl LIX”).

KYW Newsradio: Outstanding Radio Public Affairs Program/Program Series (“KYW Newsradio: I’m Listening”) • WBEB (B101): Outstanding Radio Public Service Announcement/Campaign (“B101’s Christmas Choir Competition”) • WPHT-AM (Talk Radio 1210): Outstanding Local Radio Personality/Team (“Kayal and Company”).

Pittsburgh: KDKA Newsradio: Judges Merit Award (“The Colin Dunlap Show”) • WBZZ (100.7 Star): Outstanding Radio Public Service Announcement/Campaign (“More Good Days In May”).

Wilkes-Barre/Scranton: WGGY (Froggy 101): Outstanding Local Radio Personality/Team (“The Doc Show with Chewy”) • WILK-FM (NewsRadio WILK): Outstanding Radio Public Affairs Program/Program Series(“Special Edition — Paul Miller’s Law”).

PAB honors the exceptional accomplishments of Pennsylvania’s radio and television stations and their broadcast professionals. Recipients will celebrate at a luncheon on April 10 at The Sheraton Harrisburg/Hershey Hotel.
