Bear Bolstered With Addition Of Reed & Cage

• Federated Media South Bend, IN unveiled a refreshed on-air lineup for Active Rock WRBR (103.9 The Bear), utilizing the unique skills of two familiar company veterans — Morgan Reed steps into middays, and Drew Cage joins for afternoon drive.

Ms. Reed (left) brings her on-air and digital experience from doing nights over on Hot AC WAOR (Froggy 102.7) and her anchor/producer role on News-Talk WTRC (95.3 MNC), both of which she relinquishes to fully focus on The Bear.

Reed succeeds Heather Rooney, who had been hosting middays remotely from Fort Wayne for the past two years, while Cage (right), who continues his long-running show on sister WBYR (98.9 The Bear)/Fort Wayne, fills the slot previously held by Johnnie 13, who recently relocated back home to Pennsylvania with his family.

The Bear’s new weekday schedule remains anchored by The Jason Lee & Kluck Show, now syndicated live from South Bend and celebrating 15 years on the air.
