Beasley Las Vegas Touches That Dial

• Beasley Media Group has been busier than usual of late in its Las Vegas cluster — with Country KCYE (107.9 Coyote Country) and Hot AC KVGS (102.7 VGS) scheduled to swap frequencies — again — on Thursday, Nov. 13, the changes aren’t over just yet…

On Monday, Nov. 17, longtime Las Vegas favorite Shawn Tempesta (left), currently morning co-host on KVGS, will unplug and cross the hall to Classic Hits 96.3 KKLZ, joining Carla Rea as the new co-host of the rebranded KKLZ Morning Show with Carla & Shawn. Tempesta will succeed market legend Mike O’Brian, who retired at the end of October, concluding an extraordinary career spanning nearly 40 years with Beasley Media Group.

At the same time, Aimee Thomas (right), Tempesta’s co-host on KVGS, will return to mornings on 102.7 Coyote Country alongside longtime Coyote Country PD Shawn Stevens.

“Las Vegas is home to some of the best talent in the country, and these moves strengthen two of our incredible brands,” said Beasley Chief Content Officer Justin Chase. “We’re thrilled to see Shawn join forces with Carla on KKLZ and to welcome Aimee back to The Coyote family. Our listeners are going to love what’s ahead.”

We are told to stay tuned for a new morning show announcement for KVGS.
