Matrix Broadcasting’s suburban Chicago Classic Rock WFXF (103.9 the Fox)/Crystal Lake, IL and Crystal Lake Brewing (CLB) have joined forces to create the best promotional item — a classic rock ‘n roll inspired beer — the Fox Rocker, described as a “delicious, quaffable American-style Red Ale,” will be available in hundreds of locations from the Mississippi River to Lake Michigan. Look for it on tap and in 6-pack cans starting in April. A public launch party at Crystal Lake Brewing’s taproom is scheduled for April 15, and tasting events and broadcasts will happen across the region throughout the year.

A portion of all profits will benefit 1pet1vet, an organization that strives to save the lives of Northern Illinois combat veterans suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder by pairing them with carefully-selected, trained service dogs.
