Fayed Named Dir./Marketing For iHeart Boston

• iHeartMedia Boston just introduced Hisham Fayed as its new Director of Marketing. Now safely aboard, Fayed will work closely with the promotions, events, sales and programming teams in developing and executing marketing plans for the group’s iconic music brands, including WXKS (Kiss 108), WJMN (JAM’N 94.5), WBWL (101.7 The Bull), 100.7 WZLX and WKAF (The New 97.7).

Fayed will oversee marketing efforts and identify opportunities to increase brand awareness and revenue, reporting to Adam Ralston, Vice President of Marketing for iHeartMedia Boston. “Hisham has a proven track record of impactful marketing campaign creation and execution in Boston,” said Ralston. “We are thrilled to add him to our superstar marketing team and we know he will contribute to our brands’ ongoing success.”

Fayed joins iHeartMedia bearing over a decade of brand management and marketing experience, including eight years with Beasley Media Group Boston as Director of Marketing & Promotions for former Talk outlet WTKK and its successor, WBQT (Hot 96.9). He began his career at Northeast Broadcasting Triple A WXRV (92.5 The River)/Boston and is a graduate of Franklin University.
