Frankie & Geena Ride Again!

• iHeartMedia Top 40 KHTS (Channel 933)/San Diego is proud to announce the grand radio reunion of Frankie V and Geena The Latina as the station’s new (again) morning team — The Geena The Latina & Frankie V Morning Show is now on the air weekdays from 6-10am PT. To recreate their morning magic, Frankie simply unplugs from mornings down the hall on Rhythmic sibling KSSX (JAM’N 95.7) and rejoins Channel 933 morning co-host Geena, succeeding Steve “That Guy” Kramer, who exited this week.

A native of Framingham, MA, Frankie V originally joined Channel 933 to do nights in 2006. You may fondly recall that Frankie & Geena initially teamed up in mornings on Channel 933 in 2010, a run that lasted several years before each went on to separate success.

In July 2015 Frankie returned home to Boston to co-host the morning show with Ashlee Feldman on Rhythmic sister WJMN (JAM’N 94.5) — less than a year later, on Memorial Day weekend 2016 — Frankie transferred back to San Diego to do afternoons on KSSX as it morphed from Rhythmic AC 95.7 Kiss FMto Rhythmic as JAM’N 95.7. He later moved up to mornings, paired with Tati Santiago — a partnership that lasted until last August, when Tati crossed the hall to Hot AC KMYI (Star 94.1) as morning co-host with Jesse Lozano. Since then, Frankie had hosted the rebranded Frankie V and the JAM’N 95.7 Morning Show.

Back at KSSX, Beto Perez is elevated from nights to mornings.
