Holiday Changes @ Adams Radio Tallahassee

• Adams Radio of Tallahassee used the kick-off to the long holiday weekend to make adjustments on two of its stations — Adult Hits WANK-FM has dropped its “Hank FM” name and rebranded as “Tally 99.9… We Play Everything,” along with new WXTY calls.

Across the hall on Top 40 WHTF (Hot 104.9), the company picks up the Premiere-syndicated Brooke & Jubal morning show. This is the second Adams market that will air Brooke & Jubal.

The good news is, current Hot 104.9 morning duo Alex Summers and Brian O’Conner remain with the station — Summers moves to middays and O’Conner slides into nights.

Commenting on the changes, Adams Tallahassee Market Manager Jason Lamp said, “We believe that ‘Tally 99.9’ better positions our station as the ‘at-work station.’ The Hank-FM brand created confusion with the listener. The refreshed music is truly the best in the market.” He continued, “As for Brooke & Jubal on Hot 104.9, I could not be happier. This morning show does incredible in every market they are in — and fast. Our sister station in Maryland launched the show a year or so ago, and the success was incredible. We believe we will see similar results in Tally.”
