iHeart’s Jill Strada: ATL + MIA
• Congrats to Jill Strada, EVP of Programming for iHeartMedia Atlanta, who annexes bonus PD stripes for Urban sister WMIB (103.5 The Beat)/Miami.
Strada, who joined iHeartMedia ATL in September 2024, succeeding Country Radio Hall of Famer Meg Stevens, broke her own news in an Instagram post that reads, “While continuing to lead the charge at iHeart Atlanta, I’m now stepping in as Program Director for 103.5 THE BEAT Miami. I’m ready to elevate the brand and my team to new and unstoppable levels! This is a homecoming with purpose — full circle energy in every way. I’m here for it… and I’m grateful for it all.”
Miami is certainly familiar territory for Strada, who previously served as Director of Operations for Cox Media Group Miami and PD of WFLC. She also programmed Audacy’s WPOW (Power 96)/Miami. Strada’s major market resume also includes a stint as APD of WBQT (HOT 96.9)/Boston, PD of WRKS/New York and APD of WHQT (Hot 97)/New York. She began her career at WPYO (Power 95.3)/Orlando.
