Jackson, MS: Your New Hometown

• New South Radio Country WUSJ (US96.3)/Jackson, MS (Market 125) is looking for a new morning team or solo talent, as 30-year cluster veteran Nate West has decided to step down as morning co-host to follow “a new career path,” as the station’s heartfelt farewell social media post states.

PD Traci Lee and co-host Hannah Lane will hold down the dawn patrol for now, as the search gets underway, but will eventually move into new dayparts.

Here are some helpful bullet points to guide potential applicants: We are a family-owned company, with six stations in our cluster locally • Station is very promotionally active — we love to give our listeners fun experiences • Candidates don’t necessarily have to have a Country background. If you don’t know who HARDY is, we’ll teach you! • We invest in giving talent tools they need — show prep, coaching, ACMs/CMAs, Morning Show Bootcamp and CRS • We just upgraded our board and are transitioning to Zetta by the end of the year • Open to investing in podcasting for talent to help build their on-air/off-air brand • If you don’t have tons of debt, salary will let you live without eating ramen noodles every night • Oh, and… We do have running water and wear shoes in Mississippi.

Sound fun? You bet it does! Send resumes and airchecks to Jan.Michaels@digiostrategies.com or Kelly.Crocker@digiostrategies.com. EOE.
