Music A Serious Business In Milwaukee
iHeartMedia Urban WKKV (V100.7)/Milwaukee presents its 2017 Music Seminar on Saturday, June 3 at Wisconsin Center. This daylong music industry event will bring singers, songwriters, producers and record label execs to downtown Milwaukee to share their thoughts on how to succeed in the music industry. The 2017 Music Seminar will also offer two panel discussions: The New Way to Get in the Music Business, featuring Empire Distribution; and Music Marketing & Management.
A personal Listen & Critique session will also be held for attendees to have music industry professionals listen to their music. Those pros will provide helpful feedback to show these aspiring artists ways to continuously improve their craft and share their insights on how to get the attention of record labels.
2017 Music Seminar Panelists already announced: Maurice White, SVP, E! Entertainment; Rico Love, Grammy-winning singer-songwriter; Chad Roper, Grammy-nominated producer, Big Sound Music; Reza Sarrafieh, VP, Interscope Records; Tish Taylor, Tish Taylor 360 Management; Luis Duran, Go Management; Ron Stewart, Atlantic Records; Alexis White, Epic Records; DJ Poison Ivy, Dallas Mavericks; Leroy Johnson, Empire Distribution; Tamara Drake, Columbia Records; Norjon Headman, RCA Records; Drew Rives, Def Jam Recordings and Jason Griffiths, Capitol Records. Additional panelists will be announced later.
General admission tickets are $30. Tickets to additional panel discussions are an extra $20 each and admission to the Listen & Critique session is $50.
