New Entercom Alt Assignments
• Concurrent with the introduction of Entercom’s “reimagined” Alternative and Country programming and on-air structure, RAMP has confirmed that WNYL (Alt 92.3)/New York morning duo Cane & Corey (left and center) have annexed wake-up duties on Alternative siblings WSFS (104.3 The Shark)/Miami, WQMP (FM 101.9)/Orlando and WLKK/Buffalo, NY.
Newly named Alt 92.3 pm driver Chris Booker (left) picks up afternoon drive on WLKK (Alt 107.7/104.7)/Buffalo, WRXL (Alt 102.1)/Richmond and HFS @ 104.9/Baltimore, and Alt 92.3 night jock Kevan Kenney (center) and overnighter Bryce Segall (right) have expanded their respective shifts to all 15 Entercom Alternative stations.
• On the left coast, morning duo Stryker & Klein (left, second from left) from the World Famous KROQ/Los Angeles have expanded their footprint to KITS (Alt 105.3)/San Francisco, KVIL (Alt 103.7)/Dallas, and KRBZ/Kansas City.
And there’s more — KROQ/Los Angeles afternoon talent Megan Holiday (second from right) adds middays at KITS (Alt 105.3)/San Francisco, KBZT (Alt 94.9)/San Diego, KRBZ (Alt 96.5)/Kansas City, KKDO (Alt 94.7)/Sacramento and afternoons at KKND (107.7 The End)/Seattle.
• KROQ midday personality Nicole Alvarez (right) picks up middays at KNDD/Seattle, WSFS (104.3 The Shark)/Miami, WQMP (FM 101.9)/Orlando, KNRK/Portland and KXTE/Las Vegas.
• KNDD/Seattle morning personality Gregr (left) is now also also heard in morning drive on KKDO (Alt 94.7)/Sacramento and KNRK/Portland, and, as we reported yesterday morning, KXTE/Las Vegas morning dudes Dave Farra (center) & Jason Mahoney (right) and crew debuted Monday on KBZT (Alt 94.9)/San Diego, in addition to their other previously syndicated stations.
• And in a related story, Entercom has formally rebranded four more of its Alternative stations: KRBZ (96.5 The Buzz)/Kansas City is now Alt 96.5, along with KXTE (X107.5)/Las Vegas — now Alt 107.5; WLKK (107.7 Alternative Buffalo)/Buffalo now streamlined to Alt 107.7/104.7; and WRXL (XL102)/Richmond becomes… wait for it… Alt 102.1. Please make a mental note of all this stuff.
