‘New Era’ For Jim Kerr’s Morning Show
• iHeartMedia Classic Rock WAXQ (Q104.3)/New York announced a new era for the legendary Jim Kerr Rock & Roll Morning Show, as host Jim Kerr will be joined by new co-hosts Christin Marks and Trevor Marden, bringing fresh energy, personality and perspective to New York’s longest-running morning show. Kerr has been without a permanent co-host since last September, when longtime co-host Shelli Sonstein took a leave of absence following the death of her daughter. In January Sonstein announced she would not be returning to the show.
Marks (left) brings on-air news experience, extensive music knowledge and a sharp, relatable voice to the show. Marden (right) has served as Executive Producer of the morning show for the past six years and will continue to add his dynamic perspective and passion for music, sports and pop culture. Together with Kerr, the trio will deliver lively conversation, listener interaction and the rock & roll soundtrack that defines mornings on Q104.3.
